Eco Adventure Camp

Summer Camp Points to Note

 

1. General Information

·         The camp will be cancelled if there are less than 12 participants. An email of course cancellation will be sent to guardians/parents, and all paid course fee will be refunded by credit card.

·         The applicant will receive a participants’ notice and special arrangement application form via email before the camp commences. If participant has any food allergy, special health condition or special needs, please state in the form for arrangement. Ma Wan Park Limited reserves the rights to reject applications that are beyond the service scope.

 

2. Criteria for Participation

·         Participants who are suffering from any diseases including, but not limited to, fever, coughing, cold/flu, skin diseases, allergic reaction to animal encounter, fear of animals, allergic reaction to plants, are not suitable to join this camp.

·         The camp will be conducted mainly in Cantonese with supplementary instructions in English

·         Participants are required to follow staffs’ instructions during the camp. Leaving the group is not allowed.

·         Participants please bring along daily necessities, i.e. water, hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent and umbrellas/raincoats. Warm clothes may be needed for chilly weather.

·         Participants should not bring valuable belongings. Ma Wan Park Limited shall not be held liable for any loss of and/or damage to any personal properties and/or belongings of participant during the camp.

·         Participant should stay at home and rest if suffering from sickness.  Ma Wan Park Limited reserves rights to ask the participants to temporarily refrain from joining the camp. No refund or make-up session will be arranged for absence due to sickness.

·         If participant shows disregard to the safety of others or misconduct during the camp, Ma Wan Park Limited reserves the right to dismiss participant during the camp without refund or make-up session.

·         Camp schedule, participants’ name tag, students pick up card, and points to note will be sent to the parents/guardians of the participants via email and will also be notified individually by phone before the camp starts.

 

 

3. Transportation, Assembly & Dismissal Arrangement:

·         Participants who choose to arrange transportation to Noah’s Ark by himself/herself, the

transportation fee will be bared by participants. (The road connecting Ma Wan Island from

Tsing Ma Bridge is a restricted road managed by the Government; only vehicles with valid

permits issued by Transport Department are allowed. Please refer to Noah’s Ark website for transportation arrangement.)

·         A free shuttle service between Tsing Yi and Noah’s Ark will be provided to participants who choose Tsing Yi MTR Station as the assembly point.  The free shuttle service is only for participants who selected Tsing Yi MTR Station as the assembly location. Parents or guardians are not permitted to travel on the shuttle.

·         A “Noah’s Academy Summer Camp” sign will be shown on the windshield of the shuttle bus.

·         Parents, guardians and participants should arrive at the assembly location 5 minutes in advance. Late participants should take other transportation to Noah’s Ark. Parents should arrive at the dismissal location 5 minutes in advance for pickup of participant.

·         Parents and guardians will be informed the exact assembly and dismissal location before the camp starts.

·         In case of a Social Event that may disrupt or delay transportation to the Assembly Location,  parents can choose to arrange transportation on their own to drop off and pick up at the main gate on that day. No refund will be made.

·         In case of a Social Event, the start and end time may be adjusted, parents will be contacted with details.

·         In case of a Social Event which might cause a “Cancellation”, Noah’s Ark Staff would inform the Parents ONE hour in advance. The organizer will contact parents/guardians if any make-up session of the camp is arranged.

 

4. Adverse Weather Arrangement

Typhoon Signal No. 1

 

The camp will continue as usual.

 

Amber Rainstorm Warning / Red Rainstorm Warning / Thunderstorm Warning/ Typhoon Signal No. 3

 

The camp will continue as usual, but outdoor activities will be suspended. Participants please arrive at Noah’s Ark/gathering location on time.

Black Rainstorm Warning

 

If the warning is hoisted during the event, the event will continue, but outdoor activities will be suspended. Dismissal will be delayed until the Black Rainstorm Warning is lowered.

 

If the warning is hoisted two hours before the event, the event will be delayed. The Organizer will call parents/guardians to confirm the resuming time for the event.

 

Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above

 

If the warning is hoisted during the event, the event will be suspended immediately. Parents/Guardians need to come to Noah’s Ark to pick up participant. Once the warning is cancelled, the Organizer will call parents/guardians on the resuming time of the camp.

 

If the warning is hoisted two hours before the event, the event will be suspended and postponed. If the warning is cancelled after 12pm, the event will not resume on same day. The Organizer will contact parents/guardians if any make-up session of the camp is arranged.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5. Terms and Conditions

l  The camp is non-refundable and non-transferable. Payment will not be refunded should the participant quit or not able to join the camp under any circumstances or reasons.

l  During the course of camp, the participant shall take into account their own safety and comply with the instructor’s instructions and safety code. Ma Wan Park Limited shall not be held liable for any injuries of participants during the camp.

l  All people entering Noah’s Ark Hong Kong, including those attend camps, are required to comply with the Noah’s Ark Rules and Regulations, please visit http://www.noahsark.com.hk/eng/rules-and-regulations.jsp

l  Payment will not be refunded should the event be cancelled due to adverse weather or under any other circumstances beyond the control of Ma Wan Park Limited.

l  Ma Wan Park Limited shall not be held liable for any loss of and/or damage to any personal properties and/or belongings of participant during the camp.

l  In the event of a sudden incident, such as public health concern, the camp session will follow the guidelines arranged by the Education Bureau or relevant government body. The organizer will contact parents if any make-up session of the camp or refund is arranged.

l  Participant shall be held liable and make full compensation for any damage of equipment and/or facilities at camp sites at market rate.

l  Ma Wan Park Limited shall take photographs and videos during the camp for promotional purpose.  Parents who do not wish to authorize the use should notify the Organizer in writing.

l  These Points to Note are subject to change without prior notice

l  In case of dispute, Ma Wan Park Limited reserves the right for any final decision.

暑假體驗營參加者須知

 

1.  注意事項

·         如參加人數不足12人，課程將予取消，屆時將透過電郵通知有關報名人士之家長。 以信用卡已繳之學費會經有關銀行以信用卡退回。

·         本機構於開課前將以電郵發出參加者須知及特別安排申請表。如參加者有任何食物敏感、特別健康狀況或其他需要注意的地方， 可於申請表內列明，以作出安排。如有關要求超越執行範圍，本機構有權拒絕參加者之申請。

 

2.  體驗營報名需知

·         參加者如患有以下疾病及反應，包括但不限於發燒、咳嗽、傷風/感冒、皮膚病、接觸動物時出現不適徵狀、對動物恐懼和對植物敏感，並不適合參與本活動。

·         體驗營以廣東話為主，以英語輔助。

·         參加者無論於任何時候均須聽從工作人員指示，不得擅自離隊。

·         參加者請自備需要之日常用品，如水 、帽子 、防曬用品 、防蚊用品及雨具。可酌量準備輕薄禦寒衣物而應付天氣變化。

·         參加者請勿攜帶貴重財物參加活動。如有任何遺失，本機構一概不負責。

·         參加者如發覺身體不適，請留在家中休息。如有需要，本機構有機會要求身體不適者暫停參與活動。如因疾病選擇不上課將視作請假， 有關活動課節不設補課或退款。

·         如參加者於活動期間行為不檢或作出影響他人安全的行為， 本機構有權要求參加者於活動進行期間離開。

·         日營開始前，本機構將以電郵通知家長及監護人體驗營時間表、學員名牌、家長接送名牌及家長須知等資料，並由專員致電提醒家長注意事項，並接受家長查詢。

·         如參加者選擇自行安排交通直接前往挪亞方舟,費用由參加者承擔。(注意: 馬灣路為二十四小時限制車輛區域，私家車如沒有獲得運輸署發出之禁區許可證將不可駛入馬灣。交通詳情請參閱挪亞方舟網頁。)

·         於青衣港鐡站附近集合之參加者將獲安排乘搭免費專車來往青衣及挪亞方舟。專車服務只提供予已選擇青衣港鐡站附近為集合地點之參加者，家長及其他人等不得以任何理由乘坐本專車。

·         每輛接送的專車車頭均會擺放「挪亞學堂暑假體驗營」指示牌。

·         請家長/參加者於預計集合時間提早至少 5 分鐘到達等候接載，逾時不候；遲到者需自行安排交通前往挪亞方舟。家長接回參加者的時間，亦請提早5 分鐘到達解散地點等候。

·         確實集合及解散地點將於稍後通知。

·         家長接回參加者的時間，亦請提早5 分鐘到達落車處等候。

·         如因社會運動影響導致交通中斷或擠塞而無法於原定時間前往集合地點，家長可選擇自行安排交通於挪亞方舟正門接送。當日受影響的活動之費用均不獲退回。

·         活動的開始時間及結束時間如因社會運動而有所調整，將會以電話另行通知。

·         如因社會運動而取消當天日營，挪亞方舟的負責職員會於集合時間前一小時通知閣下。如另有補課安排，將會以電話另行通知。

體驗營如常進行，惟戶外活動將會暫停，參加者需準時到達挪亞方舟／體驗營集合地點。

 

黑色暴雨警告

 

若在體驗營期間懸掛，活動會如常進行，惟戶外活動將會暫停。於黑色暴雨警告有效期間, 解散時間或有所延誤.

 

 

若在體驗營前兩小時懸掛，體驗營將延遲開始，本機構將致電家長/監護人確定體驗營開始時間。請開啟手提電話，以便聯繫。

八號強風信號或以上

 

若在體驗營期間懸掛，體驗營將立刻暫停，家長需到營會地點接參加者離開。當八號或以上颱風訊號除下後本機構將致電機構負責人確定體驗營恢復時間。

 

若在體驗營前兩小時懸掛，體驗營將延遲開始，本機構將致電家長/監護人確定營會開始時間。若八號強風信號於下午12時後除下，全日活動將會取消。如另有補課安排，將會以電話另行通知。

 

5. 所有參加者均受以下條款約束

l  參加者無論在任何情況及原因下退出或未能參加是次活動，已繳交之費用均不獲退回。已報讀之課程學費及學位亦不可轉讓他人。

l  活動進行期間，學員須顧及自身安全，並遵從導師的指示和安全守則。對意 外事故造成之身體損傷，本機構概不負責。

l  所有進入挪亞方舟之人士，包括日營學員，均須遵守挪亞方舟規則和章程， 請參閱以下網址：http://www.noahsark.com.hk/tra/rules-and-regulations.jsp

l  如因惡劣天氣或在任何情況下被迫取消活動，已繳交之費用均不獲退回。

l  馬灣公園有限公司或其他活動負責單位毋須為參加者之財物損壞或損失負責。

l    如遇突發情況, 例如與公眾健康有關, 體驗營會根據教育局或有關政府部門的指引去作出相應安排。如有退款或補課安排，將會以電話或電郵另行通知。

l  任何破壞體驗營場地或住宿設施及器材的參加者，須按市價作出相關賠償。

l  本機構將於活動其間進行拍攝，活動照片或會用作日後宣傳用途。

l  以上所有資料有任何更改，恕未能另行通知。

l  如有任何爭議，本機構保留所有申請及體驗營安排的最終決定權。
