報名需知 及 活動條款及細則

 

1. 注意事項

·        機械車需透過已安裝Arduino Bluetooth RC Car應用程式及附有藍牙功能之Android系統手機操作，參加者於參加工作坊當日請自備有關手機，並預先從Google Play Store下載及安裝相關應用程式。(註: 馬灣公園有限公司對於安裝或使用相關應用程式而產生的任何問題或損害一概恕不負責。)

·        報名前請確定您已擁有合適的Android系統手機，並已成功安裝相關應用程式。如因手機不符合要求而未能完成程式編寫步驟及未能操作有關機械車，馬灣公園有限公司恕不負責，所繳交之費用亦恕不退還。

·        如課堂參加人數不足12人，該課堂將予取消，屆時將透過電郵通知有關報名人士或其家長。 以信用卡已繳之學費會經有關銀行以信用卡退回。

·        本機構於開課前將以電郵發出參加者須知及特別安排申請表。如有關要求超越執行範圍，本機構有權拒絕參加者之申請。

 

2. 工作坊報名需知

·        參加者如患有以下疾病，包括但不限於發燒、咳嗽、傷風/感冒、皮膚病，並不適合參與本活動。

·        參加者無論於任何時候均須聽從工作人員指示，不得擅自離隊。

·        參加者請勿攜帶貴重財物參加活動。如有任何遺失，本機構概不負責。

·        參加者如發覺身體不適，請留在家中休息。如有需要，本機構有機會要求身體不適者暫停參與活動。如因疾病選擇不上課將視作請假， 有關活動課節不設補課或退款。

·        如參加者於活動期間行為不檢或作出影響他人安全的行為，本機構有權要求參加者於活動進行期間離開 。

·        工作坊開始前，本機構將以電郵通知參加者或其家長及監護人工作坊之時間表、學員名牌、家長接送名牌(18歲以下之參加者)及參加者須知等資料，並由專員致電提醒參加者或其家長及監護人注意事項，並接受查詢。

·        參加者需自行安排交通前往挪亞方舟，費用將由參加者承擔。(注意: 馬灣路為二十四小時限制車輛區域，私家車如沒有獲得運輸署發出之禁區許可證將不可駛入馬灣。交通詳情請參閱挪亞方舟網頁。)

工作坊如常進行

 

黃色暴雨警告 / 紅色暴雨警告 / 雷暴警告／三號強風信號

 

工作坊如常進行，惟戶外活動將會暫停，參加者需準時到達挪亞方舟／工作坊集合地點。

 

黑色暴雨警告

 

若在營會期間懸掛，活動會如常進行，惟戶外活動將會暫停。於黑色暴雨警告有效期間，解散時間或有所延誤。

 

若在營會前兩小時懸掛，工作坊將延遲開始，本機構將致電參加者家長/監護人確定營會開始時間。請開啟手提電話，以便聯繫。

八號強風信號或以上

 

若在工作坊期間懸掛，工作坊將立刻取消，家長需到營會地點接參加者離開。當八號或以上颱風訊號除下後本機構將致電參加者家長/監護人確定工作坊恢復時間。

 

若在工作坊前兩小時懸掛，工作坊將延遲開始，本機構將致電家長/監護人確定營會開始時間。若八號強風信號於下午12時後除下，全日活動將會取消。如另有補課安排，將會以電話另行通知。

 

 

5. 所有參加者均受以下條款約束

·     參加者無論在任何情況及原因下退出或未能參加是次活動，已繳交之費用均不獲退回。已報讀之課程學費及學位亦不可轉讓他人。

·     活動進行期間，學員須顧及自身安全，並遵從導師的指示和安全守則。對意外事故造成之財物損失或身體損傷，本機構概不負責。

·     所有進入挪亞方舟之人士，包括日營學員，均須遵守挪亞方舟規則和章程， 請參閱以下網址：http://www.noahsark.com.hk/tra/rules-and-regulations.jsp

·     如因惡劣天氣或在任何情況下被迫取消活動，已繳交之費用均不獲退回。

·     馬灣公園有限公司或其他活動負責單位毋須為參加者之財物損壞或損失負責。

·     如遇突發情況，例如與公眾健康有關，工作坊會根據教育局或有關政府部門的指引去作出相應安排。

·     任何破壞工作坊場地或住宿設施及器材的參加者，須按市價作出相關賠償。

·     本機構將於活動其間進行拍攝，活動照片或會用作日後宣傳用途。參加者如不同意上述安排，可於成功參加課程後以書面形式提出。

·     以上工作坊資料及有關條款及細則如有任何更改，恕未能另行通知。

·     如有任何爭議，本機構保留所有申請及工作坊安排的最終決定權。

Smart Robot Car Workshop

Terms and Conditions

 

1. General Information

 

·         The robot car can only be controlled through a Bluetooth enabled Android mobile device installed with the “Arduino Bluetooth RC Car” mobile app. On the date of workshop, participants should bring along the relevant device already installed with the necessary mobile app from Google Play Store. (Remark: Ma Wan Park Limited would not be responsible for any liability arising from the installation or use of this application.)

·         Before enrollment, please ensure that you have the suitable Android mobile device and have successfully installed the required mobile application.   Ma Wan Park Limited will not be held responsible in any way for participants’ failure to complete the programming procedure or to control the robot car due to inappropriate mobile configuration, and no refund will be arranged.

·         A particular Workshop session will be cancelled if there are less than 12 applicants by the application deadline. An email of session cancellation will be sent to parents. Paid course fee will be refunded through credit card.

·         The applicant will receive a participants’ notice and special arrangement application form via email before the Workshop commences. Ma Wan Park Limited reserves the rights to reject applications that are beyond the service scope.

 

2. Criteria for Participation

 

·         Participants who are suffering from any diseases including, but not limited to, fever, coughing, cold/flu, or skin diseases are not suitable to join this workshop.

·         Participants are required to follow staffs’ instructions during the workshop. Leaving the group is not allowed.

·         Participants should avoid bringing valuable belongings. Ma Wan Park Limited shall not be held liable for any loss of and/or damage to any personal properties and/or belongings of participant during the workshop.

·         Absence due to sickness will be considered as sick leave, no refund or make-up session will be arranged.

·         Participant should stay at home and rest if suffering from illness.  Ma Wan Park Limited reserves rights to ask the participants to temporarily refrain from joining the workshop.

·         If participant shows disregard to the safety of others or misconduct during the workshop, Ma Wan Park Limited reserves the right to dismiss participant during the workshop.

·         Workshop schedule, participants’ name tag, students pick up card (participants under the age of 18), and points to note will be sent to the participants or the parents/guardians of the participants via email and will also be notified individually by phone before the workshop starts.

 

 

3. Transportation, Assembly & Dismissal Arrangement:

·         Parents, guardians and participants should arrive at the assembly location at least 5 minutes in advance. Parents should arrive at the dismissal location at least 5 minutes in advance for the pickup of participants.

·         Participants will need to arrange transportation to the Ark by himself/herself; the transportation fee will be borne by participants. (The road connecting Ma Wan Island from Tsing Ma Bridge is a restricted road managed by the Government; only vehicles with valid permits issued by Transport Department are allowed. Please refer to Noah’s Ark website for transportation arrangement)

 

 

4. Adverse Weather Arrangement

 

Typhoon Signal No. 1

 

The workshop will continue as usual.

 

Amber Rainstorm Warning / Red Rainstorm Warning / Thunderstorm Warning/ Typhoon Signal No. 3

 

The workshop will continue as usual, but outdoor activities will be suspended. Participants please arrive at Noah’s Ark on time.

Black Rainstorm Warning

 

If the warning is hoisted during the event, the event will continue, but outdoor activities will be suspended. Dismissal will be delayed until the Black Rainstorm Warning is lowered.

 

If the warning is hoisted 2 hours before the event, the event will be suspended. The Organizer will call parents/guardians to confirm the resuming time for the event.

Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above

 

If the warning is hoisted during the event, the event will be cancelled immediately. Parents/Guardians need to come to Noah’s Ark to pick up participant. Once the warning is cancelled, the Organizer will call parents/guardians on the resuming time of the Workshop.

 

If the warning is hoisted 2 hours before the event, the event will be canceled and postponed. If the warning is cancelled after 12pm, the activities of the date will be cancelled. The Organizer will contact parents/guardians if any make-up session of the Workshop is arranged.

 

 

5. Terms and Conditions

 

l  Payment will not be refunded should the participant quit or not be able to join the workshop under any circumstances or reasons. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

l  During the course of workshop, the participant shall take into account their own safety and comply with the instructor’s instructions and safety code. Ma Wan Park Limited shall not be held liable for any injuries of participants during the workshop.

l  All people entering Noah’s Ark Hong Kong, including those attending workshops, are required to comply with the Noah’s Ark Rules and Regulations. For more details, please visit http://www.noahsark.com.hk/eng/rules-and-regulations.jsp

l  Payment will not be refunded should the event be cancelled due to adverse weather or under any other circumstances beyond the control of Ma Wan Park Limited.

l  Ma Wan Park Limited shall not be held liable for any loss of and/or damage to any personal properties and/or belongings of participant during the workshop.

l  In the event of a sudden incident, such as public health concern, the workshop session will follow the guidelines arranged by the Education Bureau or relevant government body.

l  Participant shall be held liable and make full compensation for any damage of equipment and/or facilities at Workshop sites at market rate.

l  Ma Wan Park Limited shall take photos and videos during the workshop and reserves the right to use any participant photo and video for promotional purposes future publicity purposes. Parents/guardians who do not wish to have the participant included in any promotional materials shall submit a written request after the workshop registration is confirmed.

l  Information about the workshops and their terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice.

l  In case of disputes, Ma Wan Park Limited reserves the right for any final decision
